Tourist Guides complying with safety procedures

Portuguese Tourist Guides were the first professionals in Europe to obtain a certificate which recognizes these professionals as complying with the recommendations of DGS – Directorate-General for Health.

The certification means that the safety procedures for sightseeing tours, walking tours and other tourist activities that require a Tourist Guide are being taken into account, helping increase the confidence of those who visit Portugal and promoting our country as a safe destination.

The “Clean & Safe” seal was obtained through a training program developed by Turismo de Portugal, only for qualified and certified Tourist Guide.
