Situated in the North Eastern part of Madeira Island, in Faial, there is a  heavenly place, called Teixeira Family Museum.

Anaclet Teixeira de Freitas was the founder of this magnificent and wonderful mini-village with beautiful gardens and surroundings.

Each corner of the property was planned in passionate detail  to honour his parents. The gardens, each room and each building tell us thousands of stories about his family.

There, you can admire 20 palm trees from Egypt, Our Lady of Fatima Chapel, a genealogy tree dating  from 1653 until today, 13 thousand pictures of the family, the wine house, the coat of arms of the family, bronze statues…..and so on.

As soon as you enter you’ll feel peace and love.

So don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit this place.
